AustrianFamilyHistory.org has two primary purposes. First, to provide a helpful source of information and tools to assist you to conduct successful Austrian genealogical research. Second, to promote family history focusing on the Southern Waldviertel region of Lower Austria and publish genealogical research from that area. Currently over 9,000 individuals in 2,700 families are documented in the website. The site also provides many educational tools to assist with Austrian family history, which include German script tutorials, map resources, feudal records information, language guides, research tips, time & date help, etc.
