Im Jahre 1962 erschien das Buch "Groß-Bieberauer Heimat- und Sippenbuch" von Dr. Heldmann und Dr. Weber. Darin wird von mehr als 250 Jahren WOLF in Groß-Bieberau berichtet - das war der Anlaß für mich, mich mit der Familienforschung zu beschäftigen. Die Familie Wolf - meinen Mannesstamm konnte ich gar 500 Jahre zurückverfolgen bis zu Velten WOLF welcher um 1610 in Lengfeld geboren wurde. Auch die Vorfahren meiner Frau habe ich erforscht. Teilweise konnten ich unsere Vorfahren zurück bis in das Jahr 1100 ermitteln.
