Concentrates on the genealogy and related family/regional history of the French-speaking families who emigrated to Illinois in the mid-1800s (mostly from Quebec, but also from Belgium, Switzerland, etc.) to establish the town of St. Anne and other towns in the vicinity (Kankakee and Iroquois counties). We follow those families back to their earliest origins and track them as they move to other states - notably Kansas, Nebraska, and Wisconsin. Archives: browse or search.
