There are church books, army records and much more. Some of them date back to 1516. Saaga is a collection of digitised archival records of the National Archives of Estonia and Tallinn City Archives. The initial objective of Saaga was to enable access to the most important genealogical materials. Since 2008, Saaga comprises all the archival records digitised in the National Archives of Estonia and Tallinn City Archives, regardless of their topic and potential focus group. There are new materials being added regularly, you can find more than 9 million of images at the moment.
