Society of Descendants of Lady Godiva
The Society of the Descendants of Lady Godiva is for both males and females from birth who can prove their lineage back to Lady Godiva, who married Leofric, Earl of Mercia, probably by 1030. Eligibility for membership shall consist of individuals of good character whose qualifying ancestor is Lady Godiva of Mercia, England. Membership in the society shall not be denied due to race, gender, or creed.

The Anason Family in Rogaland County, Norway and Juneau County, Wisconsin
The Anason family has its roots in Rogaland County in western Norway. The earliest known member of the Anason family came from a region of Rogaland that has since become part of Vest-Agder County, Norway. Thormod Lovass Anason emigrated to the U.S. in 1869 and settled in Juneau County, Wisconsin. He married Herborg Olsdatter in 1876 which connected him to the Suldal Norwegian American settlement in Juneau County.

The McGlothlin name appears to date back to medieval Ireland or Scotland with possible connection to the Viking raiders. The ancestors of this branch probably came to America prior to the Revolutionary War. The name McGlothlin or McLaughlin appears in the records of Virginia, North Carolina and Georgia. The Plymouth Lutheran Cemetery, Lindina Township, Juneau County, Wisconsin
A biographical study of all the people buried in the Plymouth Lutheran Cemetery in Juneau County, Wisconsin. The church, cemetery and the country school that was located across the road from the church were called the Suldal Church, Suldal School and Suldal Cemetery. Almost all of the Norwegians buried here have roots in Suldal, Rogaland County, Norway.

The St. Clair Family Story in America: John Sinkler (c1630-1700) to Fairy St. Clair Gibson
This book traces the St. Clair family from Scotland to the New Hampshire frontier in 1650. John Sinkler was sold by his English captors during the English Civil War as an indentured servant. The first five generations of the St. Clair family in America was spent in New Hampshire. James Sinclair/St. Clair (1757-1836) fought with Whitcomb's Rangers and the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War. After the Revolutionary War, this branch of the family moved to New York State, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas , Oklahoma, and finally to the states of Washington and Oregon. Fairy St. Clair Gibson's family joined the Seventh-day Adventist Church in 1917.
