The Clarendon County Archives and History Center opened in October of 1996. It was established to collect, preserve and display the unique documents and artifacts which make up the history of the Clarendon County area. Located within the quaint confines of the historic Old Manning Library on N. Brooks Street in Manning, South Carolina, the archives houses books, personal papers, maps and photos, all of which provide insight into the cultural history of a rural southern county in South Carolina.
