- The American Baptist - Samuel Colgate Historical Library ~ Rochester, New York
Purpose is to document the history and thought of the Baptist movement in all of its forms. The Library is believed to hold the largest collection of Baptist related research materials in the world. It holds approximately 80,000 volumes, including over 500 volumes of original church records. More than 400 manuscript collections of Baptist ministers, missionaries, and scholars are kept here.

From Mercer University, Macon, Georgia. Mercer University has collected and preserved Baptist history materials with conscious intent since the late 1870s, following the University's move from Penfield to Macon. At a number of points during the ensuing years, the Georgia Baptist Convention has named the University as the official depository of state Baptist records.
