This new book, by Dorothy Fowler and published & sold by the California Genealogical Society, offers insight into the daily lives of regular people as they made do and moved on after the 1906 disaster. Bringing together previously unpublished letters from the spring and summer of 1906, this book vividly presents one young woman's first-hand account of her experiences in San Francisco.
