    Can you recommend a genealogy software program?

    We have previously used Sierra's Generations (now owned by Genealogy.com). I am in the midst of converting my files and notes to The Master Genealogist. There are two great sites to visit for comparisons of genealogy software programs: Genealogy Software Springboard and The Genealogical Software Report Card. These sites have all the details you need regarding system requirements, price, ordering information, vendor's name and address, and program features, as well as a list of pros and cons contributed by every day users like you and me. You can also find more than 200 links to online resources on the Cyndi's List Software & Computers category page.
