      This is a website maintained by a group of contributors living in Germany and the United States who have common roots in the villages of Birkenhördt (Birkenhoerdt), Böllenborn (Boellenborn), Blankenborn, Reisdorf, Lauterschwan and the southern area of Rheinland-Pfalz (formerly Palatine), Germany near the French border. The website has an ancestry database containing almost 20,000 individuals and covering the year 1640 to the present. In addition to the database, there is also other interesting information as well, e.g. a chart showing emigration data, a transcription of inscriptions on gravestones in the local cemeteries.
