The web site pertains to descendants of Jonathan W. Redick, born circa 1786 in Pennsylvania, probably Washington County; for several years, lived in Ligonier area, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania; alive in 1850 when Jonathan, wife Jane (?Brooks), and children Angeline, Jane and Cummins, were in Hancock County, Virginia, now West Virginia. Several descendants of Jonathan lived in Columbiana County and Wayne County, Ohio; Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania; and Mecklenburg County, Virginia. The web has a section on ancestors of Jonathan W. Redick, presumed but not yet proven to be of the John and Rachel (Hoge) Redick clan, via their son John Hoge Redick who married Mary Hoge.
