This is a site that hopes to have the name of every town that ever existed in South Texas. The goal is to have the following for each place name presented to you in this order: former name; also known as name; later name; present name; place names it includes; for those on a county line, the counties it is part of; location; incorporation date; railroad name; if it had a US Post Offices 1859/60; if it was listed as a town in the 1880 US Census; Post Office years of operation with current Zip Code; population.
