Researching Adolphus AMES family who was born in New York in 1809 and married and migrated to Liberty Township, Mc Kean, Pennsylvania and Norwich Township, Mc Kean Pennsylvania. They bought and sold land and farmed there. After a few years, about 13 years, they moved on or migrated to Dane County Wisconsin living in Cottage Grove with other AMES families. I am trying to link this AMES to Nathaniel Ames the Patriot.
