Our mission is to pursue research into Brooking and related families, including Brooking variants such as Brookin, Brookins, Brookens, Brookings, Brookling, Brooklyn, Bruckin etc. The results are published in the society's journal, "The Brooking Family Historian" which is mailed free three times a year to all subscribing members.

This site is maintained by Bill Brooks, the former editor of the BROOKS Historian. The Brooks Historical Library is dedicated to the preservation of genealogical and historical information relating to the Brook, Brooke, Brooks, Brookes, and all other variations of the 'BROOKS' surname and their related family lines. The website has a query section, links, and back issues of the Brooks Family Bulliten, Brooks Family Query Exchange, and The Brooks Historian spanning from 1973 to 1998 (currently in work).
