A new ancestral and historic study of the medieval Scottish family GIFFARD (GIFFORD) of Yester. Yester is in East Lothian, near the village of Gifford. The GIFFARD of Yester family ended with four heiresses in the 14th century, and their lineage is traced to Hugh GIFFARD in 1166.
